Everyone knows that one of the most commonly modified import is the Honda Civic. This is due to the price and availability of the cars and aftermarket parts. Honda Accords, Honda Preludes, Mitsubishi Eclipses, Mazda Rx7s, Toyota Supras, Nissan 240s, and Nissan Skylines are also popular import cars to modify.

However, many choose to separate themselves from the mainstream and modify Toyota Paseos, Nissan 200s, Mazda MX3s, and Toyota Corollas. Aftermarket parts for these cars may not be as readily available as the more popular import vehicles. If you are going to modify these, make sure you are dedicated enough to stick it out through the end of the project.
