Grease does NOT make your hair grow. Grease coats the hair shaft, thus, preventing moisture from penetrating your hair. In essence, it causes your hair to die of thirst. Grease also clog your pores, thus, hindering hair growth. Grease also acts like flypaper by attracting dirt, lint, and product residue.
