Your Tire’s PSI Number
As you know, tire companies make many different tires for a vast range of cars and trucks. The psi number on the side of your tire tells you the ‘maximum permissible’ pressure to put in that tire. This is different from telling you the right psi to fill for your specific vehicle. To find this out, look at your owner’s manual or the tire placard for your ride.
