I’m glad you found the site. I have been holding my breath, waiting for this day to come. The day when two of my main interests could come together on one site.

Today, instead of passing out, I exhaled. It’s much better for the carpet.

Car Category (from ImportRival.com):

I am not a mechanic, just a chick who has loved cars since I was four years old. Is my car pimped to the gills? No. It’s been in the beginner modification stages for a while. Unfortunately, the kids have to eat.;) I am going to share with you what I have learned and am learning about cars and tuning.

This is for all of you who are looking for less hype, more substance, and basic foundational knowledge. If you want, for example, a turbocharger for your ride, shouldn’t you have at least a basic idea of how they work? Perhaps a supercharger would be best, but how would you know that if you don’t have a general understanding of your needs. This blog will hopefully keep us from getting jipped.

Nappy Hair Category (from NappyKitchen.com):

Have you ever wondered how to care for natural African American or biracial hair? Did it all seem too confusing and risky to seriously consider? I have been happily nappy since 2004. Over the years many mothers, usually black and white ask my advice about how to take care of their daughter’s unprocessed hair. Many of their children had relaxed hair but the time, expense, and damage that resulted was taking a severe toll.

The purpose of this portion of the site is to encourage moms of biracial and black daughters to keep their hair in its natural state. This means no perms (relaxers), kiddie perms (there’s nothing ‘kiddie’ about them), texturizers, or any other method out there thats purpose is to permanently straighten the hair.

Note: In general the term ‘biracial’ means a person has 2 racial backgrounds. For the purpose of this site, ‘biracial’ will be used to refer to children who are of partial African American heritage.

Oh, yeah. This blog uses humor and lots of caffeine to help convey the message. Don’t forget to take a moment and send me your comments.

I’m so happy to see you on the other side. Let us continue to move forward … plunge into the biggest afros … leave no nap unturned … forage through every kink and coil … dodge the most powerful hair relaxer … resist the hottest straightening comb … defy the gentlest (ha!) kiddie perm … celebrate our beautiful and powerful Nappy Little Princesses …Who’s with me?

Relax and Enjoy!

  • Hey, just returning the love from my own blog. :) I think it is really cool and unique of you to put two such totally different types of interests in one blog!! I like that it reflects both a fun and feminine side of you. :) Hope your blog gets the traffic it deserves!

BTW, my brother has an RSX and an RX7. He loves them. :) I’m more of a truck girl but I’m pretty fond of the Suby WRX-STI, the Infinity G35 and my real favorite – the Lotus Elise and the Exige. :)
